The last couple of days I have had to delete several posts from people who have no idea what this site is about. Cyberpcfix is not a site for weight loss drugs or sexually enhancing additives and I do not permit links to adult content sites. Please this site is about computers and computer related problems.

I have this forum set up so that anyone can get help relating to their computer or technical problems, post suggestions to help other people, for general discussions of technology and maybe some general conversation (I do have a sense of humor). If these "off topic" posts continue I will be forced to start requiring registration for all areas of the site as well as start banning ip addresses, even whole countries if that is what it takes.

Please, I am asking nice, lets keep on topic and everyone will be better for it. The whole point of this forum is so that someone who is in need of help can quickly post a question and others can post back. Hopefully the people who come here get the help they need or at least are pointed in the right direction.

I understand that everyone has to make a living and that the ways to do that on the www are somtimes a little tricky. For example, if I had a site selling some kinda product and not many people came to visit, then I would go to other sites and ask them to link to my site. Now I would not go to a site about car parts and start posting messages about how the cosmetics and perfume I was selling on my site would make them happy. I would go to "related" sites, say clothing or jewlery sites and post about how the cosmetics I am selling. This site is for "Computer Help", if your site had somthing to do with computers I would definatley consider a link from my Computer related site to your legitimate web site if the topic was related is some way.

I do not permit links to sneaky, underhanded drug sites, sexual content sites or to sites who's billion links have no purpose but to get search results pointing to them for hits alone. I understand that as a site with a smaller number of visitors than mine would want a link on my site, but come on, really... I know computers can cause stress and anxiety but, I don't think anyone has trouble with their personal "love life" or get overweight because of it.

Thank you very much for your understanding, enjoy your stay and come back soon! Sincerely, grantb (Administration)
